When a health system leader discovers your company in the directory and requests an introduction, the Inkwell team personally reviews the request, confirms fit, and brokers the connection. A $1,000 introduction fee applies per meeting for Listed and Verified members. Enterprise members receive custom terms. Health systems never contact startups directly — every introduction is human-brokered by Inkwell.

How does the introduction process work?

When a health system leader requests an introduction to your company, the Inkwell team personally reviews the request, confirms fit, and brokers the connection. You receive context on the leader and their area of interest, along with a scheduling link. Every introduction is human-brokered — health systems never contact startups directly, and Inkwell does not pursue outbound matchmaking.

What is the HOCS score?

HOCS is Inkwell's proprietary partnership readiness framework. It evaluates four dimensions: Health System Readiness, Operational Maturity, Clinical Evidence (or Credibility & Evidence for non-clinical companies), and Scalability & Fit. Listed companies see their score privately. Verified companies have their score displayed publicly to health system leaders as a credibility signal.

What does the Verified badge mean for health system leaders?

The "Verified by Inkwell" badge tells health system leaders that a company has been vetted, has completed a full profile review, and is actively engaged in the Inkwell ecosystem. It's a trust signal — leaders browsing the directory can filter and prioritize companies that carry it.

What's included in the analytics dashboard?

Verified members see profile views over time, search appearances (how often their company shows up in filtered directory searches), document downloads, unique viewer count, viewer breakdown by health system type, and category ranking within their tagged categories. This data shows you exactly how health system leaders are engaging with your profile.

What is the HOCS Readiness Snapshot?

The Readiness Snapshot is a free, lightweight assessment available to Listed companies. Inkwell evaluates your partnership readiness across the four HOCS dimensions and provides a summary score band (Strong, Moderate, or Needs Work) with a preview of one dimension. To unlock the full four-dimension breakdown and make your score public, upgrade to Verified.

Can I upgrade later?

Yes. Most companies start at Listed to build their foundation, then upgrade to Verified when they're ready for public visibility and analytics. Contact us anytime and we'll handle the transition.

Who are the health system leaders on Inkwell?

Every health system leader account is manually verified by the Inkwell team. Leaders include CEOs, CMOs, CDIOs, VPs of Innovation, VPs of Operations, and other senior leaders from health systems across the United States. They use Inkwell to discover partners — Inkwell does not push companies to them.

Is there a commitment period?

Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled anytime. Annual subscriptions include 2 months free and are billed upfront. Founding Members commit for 12 months at the locked rate. Enterprise partnerships have custom terms.
